P.S. I’ve never been that skinny in my entire life.  Not even at birth.

Staph infection?  No.

Hives?  Yes.

That’s right.  I have broken out in hives in reaction to the allergic reaction to the poison ivy.  A reaction to the reaction.  Awesome.

On a positive note, I really like the color of my hair.  You know how you’ll see a picture of yourself and notice something you would never notice looking in the mirror.  Well, there ya go.  Red, splotchy face and neck, but good hair.  Life.

I am now worried that I might have a staph infection.  Granted, I’m a worrier.  Sometimes about things that are somewhat out of the realm of possibility.  Like what if I do have a staph infection and need a face transplant.  Then BG won’t know who I am anymore and Romulus will never know what I really looked like.  And people will be all like aww, he’s adopted, and I’ll have to say no, he’s mine.  I promise he looks like I used to but now I have this new face.  Then tears will happen and I’ll be committed to the looney bin finally after all these years.

But, this time, I have valid reasons.  Earlier this morning, I googled staph infections and came across various lists of symptoms.  One included irritability and general malaise.  Um…general malaise pretty much describes my entire state of being, so obviously that site wasn’t reputable.  Where are the internet police for people who are putting up that kind of rubbish all willy-nilly style? 

I did, however, find on webmd and other more respectable sites that staph infection symptoms can include red skin that’s warm to the touch and chills/fever.  I have had both of those in the last few days, and I feel that the rash on my face has gotten worse.  So, I’m off to the dermatologist here in a bit.  Awesome.

I hope it’s just the poison running its course, but you never know.  Better to be safe than sorry.  See face transplant above.

Anyway, since I don’t have much to offer this week, you’ll just have to settle for a few little tidders I want to share.

First, Dear Forbes, JLo is not the most influential celebrity.  Whoever came up with that crap must be out of his/her mind.  I mean, nobody who is dating a 14 year old skanky back up dancer can be influential.  Seriously.  He’s like her kid.  Except you can’t be fooled by the rocks that he’s got because HE DOESN’T HAVE ANY.  Dumb.

Second, Dear People Who Stare At Me or Ask Me If I’m Going to Have a Vaginal Birth, Get the fuck out of my face.  (Oh yes I did)  I am done with you.  Why are you interested in my vagina?  And more importantly, even if you are interested, why would you think it’s okay to talk about it?  You should be shot.  And I don’t mean with the daggers from my eyes.  I would like nothing more than to beat the everlovingshit out of you, but alas, I’m huge, tired and itchy, so consider yourselves lucky.  And by the way, it’s not that I don’t want to talk about my pregnancy.  I just don’t want to talk about it with you.  Think about it STRANGERS!  

Lastly, this lady I work with sent me an email forward today, which had these two funny “Murphy’s Laws” in it.  Thought I’d share:

A fine is a tax for doing wrong.  A tax is a fine for doing well.

When you go into court, you are putting yourself in the hands of 12 people who weren’t smart enough to get out of jury duty.

Guess I should remember those when I’m ready to brawl later when someone in line at the grocery store asks me if I have pregnancy hemorrhoids.  What a world…what a world.
