Isn’t this baby shower invitation the cutest thing you’ve ever seen? Yesterday, I had a shower in my hometown, and this invitation was the one for it. Love love.
They make such darling ones nowadays that you can’t go wrong. Oh, you’d love to see some examples? Well, let me oblige.
Some friends and I are hosting a shower for Pard this weekend, and here’s the invite we picked for her. Presh! There’s also another online store where Wildflower ordered this invitation for my shower last month. They are all really cute, and each of these websites has other types of invitations and announcements as well. Wedding, parties, you name it. Reasonably priced too. Man, I need a commission.
It is always so nice to see all my old friends. We have a tradition of parties/showers that includes our group, plus their moms, plus family if we choose, and now plus kids if possible. It’s a way for us to catch up and gossip and shower each other with love. Yesterday, Fields of Joy brought her baby to meet all of us. She’s nine months old and probably the happiest baby I’ve ever seen. Plus, she’s a teener beaut and the only girl in our group. The rest of us have or are having boys. My cousin’s wife also brought their baby girl, who is beautiful and sweet and mellow. I mean, when the child cried, it was for all of two seconds, then she was back to chillin’. So fun to get to have little girls around.
I know I’ve said it before, but it really is so much fun to get baby gifts. I have even let out a few squeals here and there. Shocking, I know. But, everything is soooooooooooo cute and soft and sweet. The girls spent a lot of the time laughing about how they will visit me about a month after Jin Woo is born to see if I’m still as excited and smiley and squealy as I am now. I have assured them I will be. That caused even more laughter.
It was such a great shower, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks girls for making it so wonderful. Can’t wait to see you again soon!
