Quote of the Week

Being in our house is so great.  Last night, I sat in the nursery for a few minutes and realized that’s what I’ve been needing.  Time to anticipate.  Time to be excited.  Time to soak in all the quiet and normal before the baby comes.  There are only approximately 63 days left to do that, and Husband and I are already exhausted.  I guess a weekend of non-stop stuff really catches up with ya at some point.

Tonight, I hope to do a little unpacking and maybe some relaxing.  I’m not asking for things to be done and to have a full-blown restful period.  I’m just saying that like Dierks Bentley I’d settle for a slow down.

A slow down, that sounds lovely about now. This year feels like it’s been on fast forward!!!!

How funny! I used to sit (although some call it “napping”) in the nursery glider before Katelyn arrived….just daydreaming about all the cuteness to come! By the way, isn’t it about time for another belly pic? :o )
